2014 Cape Jaffa Shiraz

Totally opaque black red colour with a bright dark red hue. Lifted dark plum, inky blackberry and liquorice aromas overlay some toasty oak with dried meat and pepper end notes. Full bodied, rich liquoricy aniseed flavours dominate inky ripe blackberry, smoky oak, dried meats and pepper. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Opulent mouthfeel showing excellent concentration and depth. Long conclusion of liquoricy aniseed characters, inky blackberries, vanillin cedar, earth and pepper.
