Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers up lifted aromatics of liquorice, dark plum and blackcurrant followed by toasty vanillin oak and hints of spicy mint. Rich and luscious with a soft fleshy mouthfeel the palate is decorated with opulent blackberry, liquorice and dark plum flavours which overlay toasty vanillin oak, traces of mint and spice. Velvety tannins. Long spicy aftertaste of liquorice, dark plums, traces of mint, toasty vanillin oak, earth and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
76% shiraz, 23% cabernet sauvignon and 1% petit verdot, matured in French barriques (10% new). A lively medium-bodied blend with a supple palate typical of Langhorne Creek, its complex suite of earthy/fruity flavours rolling serenely across the mouth, coming back again and again as the wine is revisited, the fruit fist in the velvet glove having the last word. Great value. Drink by 2034.
