2014 Blicks Lane Sauvignon Blanc

Located on the Wairau Valley plains in Marlborough, the Walnut Block vineyard was established over ten years ago by brothers Clyde & Nigel Sowman. 'Blick’s Lane' is their second label and since the resounding success of its inaugural release in 2006, it's gone on to become our most popular Sauvignon Blanc.

Brilliant water like colour with a very faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose exhibits herbaceous gooseberry and passionfruit aromas followed by some grassy asparagus characters and citrus. Light and refreshing the palate has zingy flavours of passionfruit, herbaceous gooseberries, green apples, some grassy characters and citrus. Clean crisp dry finish. Medium to long aftertaste of passionfruit, herbaceous gooseberries, grassiness and citrusy mineral.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
