Deep dark red colour, slightly hazy, with a dark crimson purple hue. Aromas of ripe red cherries sit alongside some sour cherry notes followed by some dried herbs subtlety infused with anise and spicy cedar. Rich and supple in the mouth and finishing with bright acidity the palate is blessed with ripe cherries laced with some sour cherries and dried herbs over a backdrop of subtle meatiness and spicy cedar. Very fine grained, well-integrated tannins. Excellent power wave with a long aftertaste of ripe red cherries, traces of sour cherries, dried herb infusions, meaty cedar and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
Alc 13.9%

Other reviews….
You could call it earthen, or sweet-sour, or redolent of beetroot, or gamey, and perhaps even foresty. Truth is, it's all of those things and none of them; it is simply itself. This drips with character, and performs well above its station. As strange as it may seem, it is its own kind of 'steal', in value terms. Drink by 2026.
