Juicy, round and filled fill with lashings of sweet McLaren Vale fruit this impressive Shiraz offers outstanding value.

Sourced from the McLaren Vale sub district of Blewitt Springs the wine was matured in a combination of new and seasoned French and American oak hogsheads for a period of up to 12 months. Totally opaque inky black dark purple colour with a dark purple hue. The nose exhibits good perfumed lift with scents of ripe blackberries and liquorice followed by dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. Full bodied the palate is filled with rich opulently textured fruit flavours of ripe blackberries and liquorice followed by some dark plums, vanillin cedar and blackpepper. Solidly built but velvety tannins. Long blackberry, liquorice, plum, vanillin cedar and pepper aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
Alc 14.5%

A gold medal at the San Francisco International Wine Competition and a silver medal at the San Diego Critics International Wine Competition says much about marketing horizons. It is distinctly fragrant, only just medium-bodied, with savoury elegance more than power its aim - counterintuitive for this reason, and making it an odd man out. Drink by 2023.
