2013 Yarrh Shiraz

Totally opaque black dark purple colour with a deep dark purple black tinged hue. Pronounced liquorice and blackpepper aromas arise from the glass over some smoky vanillin cedar, dried meats and spice. Medium weight and slightly chewy in texture but with good richness the palate has flavours of flavours of blackberries and liquorice followed by vanillin cedar, subtle dried meats and light pepper. Light elegant mouthfeel. Dry fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, blackberries, vanillin cedar and light pepper.
Cellar 4-5 years.
