2013 Yarra Peaks Primavera Barbera

Opaque dark purple black colour with a dark purple hue. The nose exhibits aromas of ripe freshly crushed cherries and plum followed by hints of liquorice and some inky earth like characters. Youthful ripe cherry and plum flavours are to the fore with an inky background and some lightly spiced earth on the finish. Bright crisp acidity. Slightly dryish tannins with an aftertaste of fresh cherries, plum, pen ink and spicy earth.
