2013 Yalumba Paradox Shiraz

Outstanding colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a very deep bright dark red black hue. Ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark plum aromas arise from the glass followed by dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. Full bodied, rich and concentrated, lavish flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice, dark plums and dark chocolate flood the palate with a firm, sturdy tannin base supplying the structure. Following on are nuances of toasty vanillin oak and spicy pepper. Dry chewy finish with a long ripe blackberry, liquorice, dark plum, toasty chocolatey oak and spice aftertaste.
