2013 Warramunda Syrah

Deep dark red black colour with a bright purple red hue. Fragrant aromas of dark cherries intermixed with liquorice are overlaid by some earthy cedar and meaty characters with spice end notes. Medium weight the palate has a very elegant supple mouthfeel and features savoury flavours of dark cherries, liquorice, vanillin cedar, a hint of earth and spice. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, liquorice, vanillin cedar, subtle earth and spice. A very refined and savoury cool climate Syrah.
