2013 Warrabilla Reserve Shiraz

Fantastic colour displaying a midnight black core and very deep black crimson hue. The nose offers up an intense aromatic profile of liquorice, black plums and dark chocolate which overlay a vanillin oak and spice background. Rich and bold this heavy weight Rutherglen Shiraz features opulent liquorice and dark blood plum flavours followed by suggestions of dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. Not the faintest hint of heat is evident – the wine is wonderfully balanced. Firm but velvet textured tannins. Power a plenty here, with a prolonged aftertaste of liquorice, dark blood plum, vanillin oak and spice. 16.5% Alc.
