2013 Warrabilla Limited Release Parola's Shiraz

Spectacular impenetrable inky black purple colour with deep dark purple black tinged hue. Very intense aromas of liquorice intermixed with black morello cherries and black plum are followed by some dark chocolate, vanillin oak and spice. The palates monumental weight and power give the term decadent richness a whole new meaning. Ultra rich liquorice, dark chocolate and black cherry flavours swamp the palate and are wrapped up in a dense, decadent delivery. Nuances of vanillin oak and spice follow on the back palate. Large scaled, solid tannins are for the most part concealed by the wine's copious fruit. Super charged finish is exceptionally long with morello cherry, liquorice, dark chocolate and spicy vanillin oak featuring in the aftertaste. A brooding storm of a wine that would cast a threatening shadow over even the boldest South Australian efforts.
