2013 Vasse Felix Cabernet Sauvignon

Totally opaque dark red black colour with a bright dark red hue. Refined aromas of blackcurrant and mulberry interact with cedary tobacco characters, a hint of bay leaf and spice. Medium bodied the palate has elegance and finesse along with good richness. Flavours of blackcurrant and mulberry are to the fore with nuances of tobacco, cedar and spice also present. Very fine, structured tannins. Dryish finish with a medium to long aftertaste of blackcurrant, mulberry, tobacco and spicy cedar.
Cellar 6-8 years.
