2013 Valdipiatta Tosca Chianti Colli Senesi

Deep dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. The nose shows good intensity with ripe dark cherry and subtle plum scents dominate over earthy cedar and spice. Medium weight the palate has a soft supple feel and good richness with flavours of ripe dark cherries and spice followed by earthy cedar and a touch of leather. Dryish finish with slightly chalky but generally fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy ripe dark cherries, earthy cedar and leather.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
