2013 The Edge Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a slight black tinge and dark crimson red purple tinged hue. The nose displays top notes of freshly crushed ripe dark cherries and raspberries followed by some anise and spice. Fruity, the palate has good palate weight and a very youthful flavour profile of ripe dark cherries and plum with some inky earth like characters and spice making an appearance on the back palate. Fine grained slightly dryish tannins with aftertaste of dark plum, dark cherries and inky earthy spice.
Cellar 2-3 years.
