2013 Teusner The Independent Shiraz Mataro

Opaque black crimson colour with a dark crimson purple hue. Ripe blackberry and dark plum aromas are followed by some liquorice, vanillin confectionary and spicy oak. Medium to full bodied the palate has a plush mouthfeel with opulent flavours of ripe blackberries and dark plum over some liquorice, vanillin cedar and a touch of spice. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of dark plum, blackberry, subtle liquorice and spicy vanillin cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years.
