2013 Telmo Rodriguez Al-Muvedre Tinto Monastrell

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. The nose exhibits aromas of black cherries, liquorice and some dried fruit characters followed by earthy leather and spice. Medium bodied and quite supple on entry with the mid palate firming up a touch on the finish. Flavours of ripe black cherries and dried fruit characters with a hint of liquorice also present over a backdrop of leather and spice. Fine grained, slightly chewy finish. Aftertaste of black cherries, dried fruit characters, leather and spice.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
