2013 Tatachilla Foundation Shiraz

Superb colour displaying a saturated inky black purple core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Nosing reveals aromas of blackberry and liquorice over some plum, vanillin cedar and spice. Full bodied the palate is packed with rich opulent flavours of ripe blackberries, liquorice and dark plum followed by vanillin cedar and spice. Slightly chewy finish with firmly structured tannins somewhat concealed by the fruits opulence. Excellent length with a long aftertaste of blackberries, liquorice, dark plums, vanillin cedar and spice.
