2013 Summerfield Reserve Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Pronounced ripe blackberry and dark plum aromas meld into some liquorice, vanillin oak, faint mocha and spice. Extraordinarily rich and concentrated flavours of liquorice, ripe blackberries and dark plum flood the mouth with some choc mint infusions also present over some vanillin oak and spice. Opulent texture with velvet smooth tannins. Very long succulent aftertaste of liquorice, ripe blackberries, dark plums, subtle choc mint infusions and spicy vanillin oak.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
