2013 Shaw & Smith M3 Chardonnay

Brilliant very pale straw colour with a faint tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. Nosing reveals lifted white peach scents intermixed with dried honey, cashew and nougat followed by faint cinnamon spice end notes. Light to medium weight with a fresh finish and less concentrated than expected the palate has elegantly textured flavours of white peach and nectarine over some light cashew, citrus and faint spice. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of delicate white peach, nectarine, cashew and spice.
Cellar 5-6 years.
