2013 Saint Clair Pioneer Block Foundation Sauvignon Blanc

Brilliant water like colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the outskirts and a watery hue. Intense aromas of passionfruit and ripe gooseberries are overlaid by some herbaceous grassy characters with citrus and faint asparagus notes following. The palate features lively gooseberry and passionfruit flavours followed by some green apple, citrus and light herbaceous grassy characters. Clean crisp finish with a long passionfruit, herbaceous gooseberry, green apple and citrus aftertaste.
