2013 Rosenvale Vineyards Estate Shiraz

Fermented and matured in 4 year old American oak barrels for 12 months. Excellent colour displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Lifted aromas of ripe dark plum, dark chocolate and liquorice rise from the glass over spicy vanillin cedar. Full bodied the palate is layered with rich luscious blackberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours with an undercurrent of vanillin oak and spice. Luxuriously plush textural feel with silky smooth tannins. Finishes with a medium to long aftertaste of liquorice, succulent ripe blackberries, dark plums, vanillin oak and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
