Beautiful poised richness along with a silky textural feel makes this Pinot utterly delicious drinking now.

Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark to brick red hue. Perfumed violet top notes are followed by ripe dark cherries and strawberries with a hint of anise also present over some gaminess and spicy lightly smoked cedar. Light but rich and possessing an excellent power wave the palate features sumptuous, supplely textured flavours of ripe dark cherries, strawberries and plum over a subtle meatiness, lightly smoked cedar and spice. Fine velvety tannins. Long conclusion of ripe dark cherries, strawberries, a hint of meatiness and spicy lightly smoked cedar.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc 12.8%

Other Reviews….
From three Geelong vineyards and two from Henty; various parcels with whole bunch 38% of the final blend, the remainder destemmed, 14 days on skins, matured in French barriques (26% new) for 10 months. Deeply coloured, it is equally deeply flavoured, with satsuma plum riding high on a substantial understorey of forest floor and fine tannins, the oak spot-on. A very long life ahead. Drink by 2027.
