2013 Primo Estate Merlesco Merlot

Semi translucent bright red purple colour with purple red hue. Fresh and young the nose displays crushed berry scents of dark cherries overlaid with some mulberries, inkiness and spice. Fruity freshly crushed flavours of ripe dark cherries and mulberries dominate the light to medium weight palate with some inkiness and spice at the rear. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of macerated ripe dark cherries and spice.

Drink over the next 2-3 years.
