2013 Pike & Joyce Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a light red hue. On the nose top notes of ripe dark cherries and strawberries are followed by some meatiness and spicy cedar. Light in weight the palate has flavours of dark cherries and ripe strawberries over a meaty cedar and spice background. Modest power with a dryish finish and slightly chalky tannins. Aftertaste of dark cherries, dried meats and spicy cedar.
