2013 Payne's Rise Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. The nose displays good intensity with lifted top notes of white peach intermixed with cashew and biscuity characters followed by dried honey and nougat. Medium bodied the palate possesses both richness and finesse delivering mouthfilling flavours of white peach, cashew, subtle dried honey, nougat and spice within a moderately creamy texture finishing dry with perfectly balanced fresh acidity. Medium to long aftertaste of white peach, cashew, subtle dried honey characters and spicy nougat.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
