2013 Paxton Thomas Block Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. The nose exhibits scents of ripe pear alongside some dried honey characters with nuances of light waxy citrus, cashew and spice following. Medium bodied with a light creamy texture and soft acidity the palate features flavours of white peach, dried honey and citrus followed by light cashew and spicy cedar. Clean dry finish. Aftertaste of peach, dried honey, light cashew and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
