2013 Pask Gimblett Road Hawkes Bay Merlot

Opaque dark red black colour with a bright purple red hue. Aromas of mulberry, scorched earth and cedar are followed by some faint tobacco and spice notes. Light to medium weight the palate is elegantly built with flavours of mulberries, red cherries, earth, faint tobacco and spicy cedar. Dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of mulberry, earthy cedar, tobacco and spice.
