A very moreish, fruit driven Pinot designed for early consumption

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Fragrant aromas of ripe dark cherries and plum are to the fore followed by some subtle anise and spicy cedar. The palate is charged with generous flavours of ripe dark cherries and plums which overlay some meaty anise like characters and spicy cedar. Supplely textured with excellent power and length rounding out with soft velvety tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, plums, subtle anise and spicy cedar. Absolutely delicious!
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
Alc 14%

Other Reviews….
From Paringa's three leased vineyards, hand-picked on 11 days between 6 and 20 Mar. A wine of remarkable length, behaving as much like chardonnay as pinot in its structure; the flavours of damson plum and red cherry are pure pinot, the mouthfeel fresh and balanced. Drink by 2018.
