2013 Olivia Coonawarra Shiraz

Matured for 12 months in American and French oak. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of liquorice and black cherries meld into some toasty cedar with peppery end notes. Medium bodied, flavours of liquorice and plum are overlaid by prominent vanillin cedar with some spicy pepper characters ensuing. Velvet smooth tannins. Aftertaste of plum, liquorice, toasty vanillin cedar and spicy pepper.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
