2013 Ninth Island Pinot Noir

Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a tinge of black around the edges and a dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of ripe cherries and dark strawberries followed by some meaty cedar like characters and spice. Light weight the palate possesses flavours of dark cherries, some meatiness and spicy cedar. Slightly dryish finish with fine grained tannins. Modest aftertaste of dark cherries, some meatiness and spicy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
