2013 Narkoojee The Athelstan Merlot

Very deep dark red black colour with a crimson red hue. Aromas of ripe mulberries and cherries are followed by some cedar, a faint hint of tobacco and spice. Medium weight the palate has good up front richness with generous flavours of ripe mulberries and dark cherries over a background of cedar and spice. Fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of ripe mulberries, dark cherries and spicy cedar.
