2013 Narkoojee Reserve Chardonnay

A Rich textured Chardonnay.

Matured in new French oak barriques this impressive full bodied Chardonnay opens with a bright straw colour, pale gold edges and a watery hue. The nose shows very good intensity with aromas of peaches and honeycomb intermixed with cashew and nougat finishing with some roasted characters. Rich mouthfilling flavours of ripe peaches, honeycomb and nougat fill the palate over a background of roasted almonds and spice. Creamy texture with a clean dry finish. Long persistent aftertaste of cashew, honeycomb, roasted almonds and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
