2013 Mount Avoca Estate Range Shiraz

Totally opaque black purple colour with a dark purple red hue. Showing good aromatic intensity the nose dishes up ripe blackberry, dark plum and liquorice scents over vanillin confectionary and spice. Medium bodied the palate has a juicy feel to it with dark plum and liquorice flavours gently rolling across the palate over some vanillin confectionary, a hint of earth and spice. Finishes with good freshness, velvety tannins and an aftertaste of dark plums, liquorice, vanillin confectionary and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
