2013 Miles Mossop Wines The Introduction Red

This wine is a blend of 66% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Sauvignon and 17% Malbec sourced from vineyards around Stellenbosch. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and ripe mulberries subtlety infused with tobacco are followed by toasty cedar and spice. Medium bodied with good richness, blackcurrant and ripe dark cherry flavours are to the fore with cedary tobacco infusions and spicy earth ensuing. Fleshy mouthfeel with a slightly dryish finish and very finely grained polished tannins. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, ripe dark cherries, cedary tobacco characters and spicy earth.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
