2013 Miles Mossop Wines Max Dry Red

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a deep dark red hue. Uplifted aromas of ripe blackcurrant intermixed with liquorice are followed by some polished leather, earthy cedar and spice. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with rich blackcurrant fruit which reigns over a back drop of liquorice, earthy cedar, subtle old leather and spice. Dry chewy tannins give the back palate a sturdy feel. Long rich blackcurrant, liquorice, earthy cedar, leather and spice aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
