2013 McGuigan Hand Made Batch No. 8 Langhorne Creek Shiraz

Totally opaque black as night core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Plummy liquorice top notes overlay blackberry, vanillin oak, subtle dried herbs and spicy blackpepper. Opulent spicy dark plum, ripe blackberry and liquorice flavours fill the palate over a backdrop of smoky vanillin cedar and blackpepper. Firmish, sturdily built tannin structure. Aftertaste of spicy dark plums, liquorice, dried herb infusions, smoky vanillin cedar and pepper.
