2013 Mader Pinot Blanc

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. Ripe pear and apple aromas are overlaid by honeysuckle followed by light quince and spice end notes. Medium bodied with good richness and a rounded textural feel the palate has flavours of ripe pears and apples intermixed with some honeysuckle over a touch of spicy quince. Medium dry finish with relatively low acidity, but sufficient enough to keep things balanced. Aftertaste of ripe Jonathan apples, honeysuckle and spicy quince. Quite similar to Pinot Gris in style.
