Matured for 12 months in French oak. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a crimson red hue. Aromas of dark cherries are intermixed with spicy cedar, some meaty characters and subtle earth. Light and savoury the palate has flavours of dark cherries and a touch of meatiness followed by faint earthiness and spicy cedar. Very fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, cedar and meaty earth like characters.

Matured for 12 months in French oak. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with atinge of black on the edges and a crimson red hue. The nose offers up aromas of ripe dark cherries, a hint of anise, some meatiness and spice. Light and inviting the palate has a savoury profile of dark cherries, subtle anise and meatiness finishing with some spice on the back palate. Good length. Soft very fine grained tannins with an aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, anise and some spicy meatiness.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
