Opaque black purple colour with a dark purple hue. The nose offers up scents of liquorice intermixed with blackberries and black cherries followed by some vanillin cedar and pepper. Full bodied the palate features rich liquorice and black cherry flavours followed by vanillin cedar, a touch of meatiness and pepper. Solid tannin structure provides a sturdy robust mouthfeel. Long conclusion of liquorice, black cherry, vanillin cedar, subtle meatiness and pepper.
