2013 Ladies Who Shoot Their Lunch Shiraz

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red purple tinged hue. Lifted aromas of liquorice and blackpepper are overlaid by smoky dried meat characters with subtle vanillin cedar notes also apparent. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with spicy ripe black cherry and liquorice flavours which merge into some dried meat, smoky vanillin cedar and blackpepper characters. Slightly dryish but otherwise fine grained tannins provide a good solid framework. Long liquorice, ripe black cherry, smoky vanillin oak and peppered dried meats aftertaste.
