2013 Josef Chromy Pinot Noir

Tassie Pinot Noir continues to excel, this first class example delivering outstanding intensity and persistence at a remarkable price.

Matured in French oak for 12 months. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a transparent crimson hue. Lifted scents of dark cherries are intermixed with anise followed by some meaty game like characters and spicy cedar. Light in weight but with a superb power wave the palate features a delicious flavour profile of ripe dark cherries, plums, subtle anise and spicy cedar. Very fine grained beauttifully integrated tannins finishing with a long moreish aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, subtle anise and spicy cedar. Great Value.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
