2013 Howard Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque black crimson colour with a bright dark crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of fresh ripe blackcurrants intermixed with a touch of bay leaf followed by some toasty cedar and spice. The palate is still quite youthful featuring medium bodied flavours of blackcurrant and dark cherries overlaid by some bay leaf with some cedar and spice following. Dry finish with slightly chalky tannins needing some time to come into complete balance. Aftertaste of blackcurrant, bay leaf and spicy cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
