Totally opaque dark red black colour with a drak red hue. Intense black raspberry and black cherry aromas infused with liquorice and hints of incense are followed by scorched earth and spice. Quite full in body the palate is filled with ripe black raspberry, black cherry and liquorice flavours over a touch of scorched earth with a spicy finish. The succulent fruit complemented by a meaty textural feel towards the finish. Dry chewy tannins. Aftertaste of black raspberries, black cherries, liquorice and very spicy earth.
Cellar 3-4 years.

Excellent depth displaying an opaque black purple core and a very dark purple hue. The nose offers up aromas of black cherries, black olives and subtle liquorice with a toasty overlay. Medium weight the palate features black cherry and liquorice flavours followed by some toasty oak and spice. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins. Aftertaste of black cherries, liquorice and spicy toasted oak.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
