2013 Hickinbotham Clarendon Vineyard Trueman Cabernet Sauvignon

Magnificent colour saturation displaying an impenetrable inky black core with a very deep dark purple black hue. Aromas of ripe blackcurrants and subtle black olives are overlaid by toasty oak, scorched earth and spice. Full bodied the palate possesses rich ripe blackcurrant and cassis fruit over a background of liquorice, vanillin cedar, lightly scorched earth and spice. Dry chewy finish with a firmly built tannin structure. Aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, vanillin cedar, lightly scorched earth and spice.
