2013 Handpicked Collection Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Fragrantly scented the nose offers up aromas of ripe dark cherries, strawberries and dark plums followed by hints of anise, earthy cedar and spice. Light to medium weight the palate is generously flavoured with ripe fruits including dark cherries, strawberries and plum over a background of subtle dried meats and spicy cedar. Supple mouthfeel with velvet smooth tannins. Good power with a medium to long aftertaste of ripe dark cherries, strawberries, a subtle meatiness and spicy cedar.
