2013 Grasshopper Rock Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a dark crimson red hue. Scented aromas of dark cherries, violets and anise arise from the glass over some strawberry, faint meaty cedar characters and spice. Light to medium weight with a supple textural profile the palate features savoury flavours of dark cherries, strawberries, subtle anise, meaty cedar characters and a spicy finish. Good power wave with very finely grained velvet like tannins. Long aftertaste of spicy dark cherries, strawberries, a hint of anise and meaty cedar.
Cellar 5-6 years.
