2013 Giant Steps Sexton Vineyard Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with a crimson red hue. The nose displays savoury tones of dark cherries and plum overlaid by gamey meaty characters with spicy cedar notes following. Light in body weight and possessing an elegant feel the palate is quite meaty in nature featuring flavours of dark cherries, game meat characters, cedar, light earthiness and spice. Slightly dryish finish with very fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of dark cherries, a savoury game like meatiness, cedar and spice.
