2013 Frescobaldi Remole

A blend of Sangiovese & Cabernet Sauvignon. Deep dark red colour with a slight black tinge and a dark crimson red hue. Aromas of dark cherries are to the fore with underlying cedar, earth and spice. Light to medium bodied the palate is very savoury with good upfront ripe dark cherry fruit flavours followed by some cedar, earth and spice. Soft very fine grained tannins. Good depth with an aftertaste of spicy dark cherries and earthy cedar.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
