2013 Emmerich Knoll Loibner Gruner Veltliner Federspiel

Brilliant pale straw colour with a watery hue. The nose displays slightly riper notes than the Domaine Wachau with a lifted aromatic profile of ripe pear, some lychee, musk and spice, not too dissimilar to a Gewurztraminer. On the palate flavours of fresh pear, subtle lychee, citrus and spice move elegantly across the palate. Clean crisp dry finish. Aftertaste of pear, light musk, citrus and orange blossom infusions.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
