2013 De Bortoli Windy Peak Heathcote Shiraz

Totally opaque black crimson colour with a deep dark purple crimson red hue. The nose exhibits inky freshly crushed berry aromas followed by a hint of liquorice and spice. The palate is very youthful but has good richness and concentration displaying freshly crushed berry flavours alongside some liquorice and spice with a dry inky finish. The tannins are still slightly chalky at this early stage. Aftertaste of ink, freshly crushed berries, liquorice and spice.
Cellar 4-5 years.
